Banner Advertisements
How would you like to display your own banner advertisements inside your Rebrand Software programs? Well, now you can, and it's very easy to do!
Sounds Good, where do I sign up?
You can turn on this optional feature when purchasing your software through our Shopping Cart. We also give you the option to upgrade to banners at any time after your original purchase. The upgrade option will be listed on your My Account page under the "My Software" section.
How does it work?
We will program a "mini-browser" into your software, in a prominent place on the main software screen. This mini-browser will be the exact size of a standard banner. Then we point the mini-browser to a page specified by you that contains your banners. This gives you total control over what type of content will appear in your ads.
Do you put them in the Full Version, Demo Version or Both?
By default, we will assume that banners should only appear in the demo version of your software. However, if you would like them in both versions we would be happy to do so at no extra charge. To contact us please Click Here.
How many banners can I place?
Can I use an affiliate banner system in my software?
Can I change the banner at a certain interval?
Absolutely! You can do whatever you want! The only thing that is required to be on your banner pages is our placement code (see below). This will align your banner properly on the screen. You can then use any scripting language you want to rotate banners, insert third party banners, randomly display banners, etc.
Can I sell my space to advertisers?
Yes! Our intention is to make your purchase even more profitable, and the ability to sell advertising space is one of the main reasons we have created the option to have banners.
Can I send popup ads through the software?
Sure. You will just need to use a method such as this one:
Step One: Create your banner page: banner.html
Step Two: Use a script to redirect after 5 minutes to a new page: popup.html
Step Three: In popup.html, insert your code to send a popup.
Step Four: Have popup.html immediately redirect back to banner.html
We will point the mini-browser in your program to banner.html, after which the user will receive a popup every 5 minutes.
Keep in mind that you can use any scripting code you want to automate banners, popups, user tracking, etc. The possibilities are limitless!
What code do I need to insert in my pages?
Your banners *MUST* open in a new window when clicked. Otherwise the page will open in the mini-browser and you won't be able to see it. You can force new windows by inserting "target=_blank" into your links like this:
<a href="http://www.yoursite.com/" target=_blank>Your Banner Goes Here</a>
Keeping that in mind, below is the code you will need to use. It will ensure that your banner appears flush with the top and left browser edges. Normal alignment methods (like "align=left") leave a small border of white space, which will throw off the alignment of the banner in our mini-browser.
