Q: When you say you "rebrand" software, what do you mean?
A: Rebranding software is the process of removing any identifying information from the software, such as the program name, company name and graphics, and completely replacing it with a different software "identity". All of our software has been custom designed specifically for rebranding, which means we can offer our services to you for thousands of dollars less than it would cost to develop your own similar software.
Q: Will your name appear anywhere in my branded software?
A: No. We completely remove any reference to our company from your software. Your customers will never know that we were involved in the production of your software. You will, legally, be the owner of your branded version of our software.

Q: How do I customize my software?
A: It's easy! After your purchase you will be able to access your software on your My Account page. You can customize your software entirely online in a matter of minutes!
Q: Do I have to write my own End User License Agreement (EULA)?
A: No. Once you customize your software's program name and company name, a default EULA will be created for you using our EULA template. You can edit it if you want, or leave it as is.
Q: Do I have to write my own Help File?
A: No. Each software title contains its own generic help file. Each help file includes instructions for getting started with the software, an overview of the program/controls, and, when necessary, troubleshooting information.
Q: Can I edit the help file?
A: Absolutely. If you would like to change the help file for your software just let us know by email. Editing the help file requires Microsoft Word, or another program capable of editing Rich Text Files (.rtf).
Q: Once you have my customization information, how long does it take to deliver my software?
A: In general, we will have all custom programming, graphics and installers completed within 3 business days.
Q: How do you deliver the software when it is completed?
A: As soon as the software is completed the installers will be made available for download on your My Account page. You will be notified as soon as it is ready. We will provide you with two separate installers: a Full version and a Demo version.
Q: What is the difference between the Full and Demo versions you provide me with?
A: The demo version will be customized with the demo type of your choice, and can expire based on days, time, usage, or a combination of those things. The Full version will be completely functional.
Q: Why do you make two different programs instead of one?
A: We do this for a number of reasons. The main reason is that it is too easy to "crack" programs that combine the Demo and Full versions in one product. In addition, we do not want to restrict you in any way. For example, if you decided that you wanted to give your software away for free, it would not make sense to force people that download your software to register the demo version. In this situation, you could just provide them with the full version.
Q: Does the full version require a registration code or come with a key generator (keygen)?
A: Not by default. Originally we planned on requiring registration codes, but decided against it for the following reasons:
It is very easy to crack registration codes and distribute a keygen
People can send registration codes to their friends and avoid paying for your software
Registration codes require more work on your part, since you have to email them to every customer
In order to solve these problems, and offer protection that is reliable without the burden of emailing registration codes, we created the Lockdown Software Protection Program. Lockdown allows you to require registration codes for your full version, can restrict each registration code to use on one computer, and allows you to remotely disable individual registration codes in the event of a refund or piracy attempt.
Q: Do you host the software on your website?
A: Only until you have downloaded it. Afterwards, you will need to host the software on your own website. We generally remove your software from our servers after two weeks to conserve space, but can upload it again at any time if you need it.
Q: Do you have any webpage templates available?
A: Not at the moment. If you need a webpage template, take a look at TemplateFreak.com, they have an excellent selection of pre-built webpages.
Q: Can I use information from your website to build my pages?
A: Yes, you are welcome to use any of the text on our website on your own pages, as well as our screenshots. However, we recommend taking your own screenshots of the final product so that the images include your program/company name. The icon images on our website are strictly off limits due to license agreements, as is our logo.
Q: Can you send me some examples of your other customer's websites?
A: Unfortunately, this would be in violation of our privacy policy.
Q: Do you write all your own software?
A: Yes. All of our software is developed from scratch and is not available anywhere else.
Q: Is the source code included with my purchase.
A: No. That is why we are able to offer such excellent prices. We retain the copyright on the source code used to build your software, and transfer full resell rights to you for the compiled versions of the software.
Q: Can I purchase the source code for any of your programs?
A: Absolutely not. In order to protect our customer's investments in our software, we have a very strict policy about releasing the source code.
Q: I saw that your software costs $200. I'll give you $100 for it. What do you say?
A: Absolutely not. That would be unfair to our existing customers.
Q: Is there a cap on the number of times your products can be purchased?
A: No. We have seen this method in use on some of the many copycat websites that have sprung up (imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, right?).
These sites try to make it seem as if they are protecting your investment by only selling a limited numbers of copies. If you see this type of site, please be sure to read their policies very carefully. It is likely that they intend to sell the source code as soon as they have sold the last "branded" copy. If that is the case, they are not protecting your investment at all, just using a gimmick to make the software seem more valuable and increase initial sales.
One of our chief concerns is preventing our software from saturating the internet, and keeping the resale value high. To protect your investment, we gradually raise the price of our software over time, which has an effect that is similar to limiting the number of copies available.

Free Custom Software Graphics
In order to give your software a professional look, each title you purchase includes free custom software graphics by our experienced graphic artist (click here for examples). We can match your software graphics to your existing website or logo, providing a feeling of integration and consistency to your customers.
Refunds, Upgrades and Support
Because of the digital nature of our product we do not provide refunds. Please evaluate the demos on our site and address any issues before purchasing.
Similarly, once we deliver your software we can no longer change the program name, company name or website associated with it (unless the name needs to be changed due to a mistake in the program branding on our part). This is necessary to prevent abuse of our services. A new purchase will be required to create a separate program with a different name/company name/website.
In the event that you find a mistake in your software, we will fix it immediately at no cost.
All brandable software purchases come with 2 free minor upgrades. Afterwards, minor upgrades are $5 each. Major version upgrades are free if they are released within 90 days of your original purchase date. Otherwise major version upgrades are $35 each. For more information please see our support article.
You are expected to provide support to your customers, and we will provide support directly to you. In extreme situations, at our discretion and with your permission, we may contact your customers to resolve particularly difficult support issues.
Third party programs (Adware/Spyware)
None of our software contains any adware, spyware, or third party programs, period!
Rights Verification Page
After your order is completed we will provide you with a rights verification page. This is a secure document on our website and is digitally signed. You can distribute the URL of this page if you ever need to verify your ownership of our software.
User Agreement
Anyone who chooses to create an account on RebrandSoftware.com (required for brandable software purchases) must agree to our User Agreement.
Privacy Policy
We will never provide your information to any third party without your permission unless it is required to verify your ownership of a particular software title. For more information, please see the section titled "Your Information and License" in our User Agreement. We do not collect credit card information. All credit card transactions are handled through Paypal.com and Charge.com, using the highest level of encryption available.
Software Suggestions/Custom Programming
We are always interested in hearing about products that you would like to sell. We also provide custom software development on a limited basis, adding custom features or creating entirely new applications, and can even create custom user interfaces from scratch.
