About Rebrand Software
Rebrand Software is located in Alexandria, Virgina, and was founded in 2003. I wanted to turn what was essentially a hobby and a creative outlet into a successful business. Initially I sold my software through eBay, but over the years my little company has grown into the largest and most respected provider of private label software in the world. At Rebrand Software we place an emphasis on quality, customer support, and high resale value of our products. We also specialize in new technology and efficiency, which allows us to:

    What does rebranding entail?
    Rebranding software is the process of removing any identifying information from the software, such as the program name, company name and graphics, and completely replacing it with a different software "identity". All of our software has been custom designed specifically for rebranding, which means we can offer our services to you for thousands of dollars less than it would cost to develop your own similar software.

    Will your company name or website appear anywhere in my branded software?
    No. We completely remove any reference to our company from your software. Your customers will never know that we were involved in the production of your software. You will, legally, be the owner of your branded version of our software.

    After my purchase how do I submit my customization information to you?
    It's easy! After your purchase you will be able to access your software on your My Account > My Software page. You can customize your software entirely online in a matter of minutes. On the My Software page you will be presented with four steps: Step 01: Enter the program name, company name, website, purchase page, demo type, and other program specific information. Step 02: The information you entered in step one is used to generate a EULA for you using our template. You can edit the EULA or create a new one from scratch. Step 03: The information you entered in step one is used to generate a Readme file. You can edit it or create a new one from scratch. Step 04: You can choose to have our artist create graphics for you and provide instructions for him, or you can use our templates to create and upload your own graphics. You can also choose your GUI type and upload icon images if you chose those options. Once all four steps are completed you finalize your order. This submits all information to us and places your software in our work queue. We handle everything from this point forward and your software is usually completed within three business days.

    How do you handle the creation of an End User License Agreement (EULA) for my branded software?
    Our website will create a default EULA for you based on the information you enter about what your program will be called and your company name. You can read over the default EULA and use it, or you can create your own from scratch by pasting it into our website during the customization process.

    How do you handle the help file for my branded software?
    Each software application contains its own generic help file that does not include references to any specific program or company name. Each help file includes instructions for getting started with the software, an overview of the program/controls, and, when necessary, troubleshooting information. You are welcome to edit the help file or provide your own, but it is not necessary. Our older programs use RichText (RTF) format which can be created with Microsoft Word, while our newer programs use Microsoft Compiled Help (CHM) which are created with commercial software applications like Easy CHM. Please contact us via email if you would like to change your help file.

    How long does it take to complete my branded software?
    For each order, after you complete the customization process, it takes approximately 3 business days to complete the first program. Any additional programs that were part of the same order will take an additional 1-2 business days. Choosing additional options like a custom icon, or adding custom programming, can add additional business days. If we anticipate a delay of more than one business day we will contact you directly.

    How is my branded software delivered when it is completed?
    As soon as the software is completed the installer will be made available for download on your My Account page. You will be notified via email as soon as it becomes available for download.

    What is the difference between the full and demo versions of my branded software?
    The demo version will be customized with the demo type of your choice, and can expire based on days, time, usage, or a combination of those things.     Will full and demo versions be separate files?
    No, your full and demo versions will be combined into one setup file. When the customer uses your program for the first time they will be prompted to either try the demo or enter a registration code. This prompt will appear each time they start the software, and they will also be presented with links to your website purchase page when closing the demo. Once you provide them with a registration code and they enter it into the software they will no longer be prompted.

    Does the full version of my branded software require a registration code or key generator?

    Do you host my branded software on your website?
    Only until you have downloaded it. Afterwards, you will need to host the software on your own website. We generally remove your software from our servers after two weeks to conserve space, but can upload it again at any time if you need it. To request an upload please visit your My Account > My Software page.

    Do you provide a website for my branded software?
    At the moment we do not include websites with your branded software. However, we are always happy to provide web development services for your software. Please Contact Us for a quote.

    Can I use text from your website to describe my branded software?
    Yes, you are welcome to use any of the text on our website on your own pages, as well as our screenshots. However, we recommend taking your own screenshots of the final product so that the images include your program/company name. The icon images on our website are strictly off limits due to license agreements, as is our logo. You are not allowed to use our information in a way that could cause a person to confuse our companies.

    Can you send me links to websites your other customers have created?
    Unfortunately, this would be in violation of our privacy policy.

    Are you the creator of your software or did you purchase it from someone else?
    We are the creators of all the software on RebrandSoftware.com. We created the source code from scratch and are the copyright holders. We are proud to offer it exclusively on RebrandSoftware.com.

    Is the source code included with my brandable software? May I purchase the source code?
    We do not distribute our source code and it is not for sale.

    May I have a discount on your brandable software?
    The prices for brandable software are firm. However, we do give discount on bulk purchases. Any purchase of two or more programs at a time will be eligible for a 15% discount. This is handled automatically by our shopping cart. If you would like to purchase more than 10 programs at once please contact us for bulk discount options.

    Do you place an artificial limit on the number of times each program can be rebranded?
    No. We have seen this method in use but it is misleading to consumers. This method of creating a false supply shortage makes it seem as if software is worth more by only selling a limited numbers of copies. If you see this type of scheme in action please be sure to read their policies very carefully. It is likely that they intend to sell the source code as soon as they have sold the last "branded" copy. If that is the case, they are not protecting your investment at all, just using a gimmick to make the software seem more valuable and increase initial sales. One of our chief concerns is preventing our software from saturating the internet, and keeping the resale value high. To protect your investment, we gradually raise the price of our software over time, which has an effect that is similar to limiting the number of copies available.

    Do you provide graphics for my branded software?
    In order to give your software a professional look, each title you purchase includes free custom software graphics by our experienced graphic artist. We can match your software graphics to your existing website or logo, providing a feeling of integration and consistency to your customers.     What is your refund policy?
    Because of the digital nature of our product we have a no refund policy. We offer fully functional 15 day trials of all our software and we invite to try them before you buy. Please also feel free to Contact us with any questions before you make a purchase. We are happy to help.

    What is your support policy?
    We provide support directly to the owners of our branded software. In turn, those owners should provide support to their own customers. Our support database at http://www.rebrandsoftware.com/support.asp should be the first place you check if you cannot answer a customer's question. If you fail to find an answer there please contact us and we will respond within one business day. Because of the large volume of emails we receive we cannot reply directly to your customers about support issues. Please contact us directly.

    Do you provide branded software owners with documentation of their resell rights?
    After your order is completed we will provide you with a rights verification page. This is a secure document on our website and is digitally signed. You can distribute the URL of this page if you ever need to verify your ownership of our software. This URL is accessible through your My Account > My Software page after your software has been completed.

    What is your user agreement?
    Anyone who chooses to create an account on RebrandSoftware.com (required for brandable software purchases) must agree to our User Agreement. Our user agreement is viewable at http://www.rebrandsoftware.com/agreement.htm

    I have an idea for software. Could you develop it for me?
    We are always interested in hearing about products that you would like to sell. We also provide custom software development on a limited basis, adding custom features or creating entirely new applications, and can even create custom user interfaces from scratch.
