I am pressing Finish Turn on my iPhone lock screen. Why does it ask for my fingerprint every time?
iPhone requires you to unlock before any Lock Screen button runs. Face ID unlocks as you press; with Touch ID, rest your finger on the Home button. Or keep the phone unlocked and play from Notification Center.
iPhone asks you to unlock before any Lock Screen button runs. On a Face ID iPhone you won’t notice: glancing at the phone unlocks it as you press. With Touch ID, rest your finger on the Home button as you press Finish turn.
To skip unlocking altogether, keep the phone unlocked: pull down Notification Center from the top of the Home Screen and play from the Live Activity there. It stays on screen, and Finish turn and Sit out round work without your fingerprint.
You can also use an Apple Watch to manage your turns if one is available.
