Is my BoardGameGeek password secure in ScoreGeek?
Your BGG password is sent encrypted over HTTPS to our server, which signs in to BGG on your behalf and gets back a temporary token. From then on the app uses the token, not your password.

Is my BGG password saved in the cloud or exported to CSV?
No. It is stored only on the device you entered it on. If your group uses several copies of ScoreGeek, you'll need to enter it on each device you want to post plays from.

Which plays get posted to BoardGameGeek?
Every play scored on the device is posted automatically to any participating player's account. Games already in your History are posted when you use the Post to BGG button.

Can someone else post my plays to BGG for me?
Yes — either enter your BGG login on their device, or post them yourself after syncing through the cloud or importing the plays from another player's BGG account.

What ScoreGeek data is pushed to the cloud?
Players, Games, Sessions, Scores and Achievements. Sensitive data like your BGG password, and large files like photos, are never pushed.

Can I share my ScoreGeek cloud login with other people?
Yes — it's designed for that. Sharing one login is how a gaming group keeps all its data in sync across many devices.

How many ScoreGeek cloud accounts can I create?
As many as you like. Data is only posted to the account you're currently signed in to, and logging in to an account syncs it with that device.

Does ScoreGeek require personal information?
No. You may want to add an email address so you can retrieve a lost password, but it's optional — and it won't be spammed or shared.

Whose ScoreGeek data will show up on my device?
Only data from people signing in to the cloud with the same username and password as you.

Can I remove players that someone else added?
Yes, but deleting a player removes them from every device on the account. To hide someone on just your device, use the Edit Players section instead.
