How do I sync my computer with my phone or tablet?
Create a matching account on each device using the same username, master password and encryption type, then log in to the same free cloud account from both. Your devices reconcile every 2–3 minutes.

Where is my Easy Password Storage data stored?
Encrypted, on your device. If you use cloud sync, a copy of that already-encrypted data is stored in your cloud account so other devices can pull it down — but only your devices can decrypt it.

Can you see my master password?
No. It is never transmitted over the internet and never stored on any server. That is why you re-enter it when setting up each device rather than having it sync across.

Is the mobile app a separate purchase from the Mac app?
Yes — the iOS and Mac apps are sold separately on their respective App Stores, $2.99 each. They share the same cloud account, so one vault syncs across all your devices.

How do I create a user and choose an encryption type?
The first time you open the app you pick a username, master password and encryption type. You can create as many separate users as you like — each vault is encrypted separately and invisible to the others.

How do I list my passwords alphabetically by title?
Use the toggle to the right of the search bar to switch to Title View, then click the Title column to sort A–Z. The app remembers the setting.

How do I add, edit, search and delete passwords?
Use the Add button to create an entry with a title, username and password. Select an entry and use Edit or Delete to change it. Type in the search box to filter the list instantly.

How do I open a website and copy its password automatically?
Give an entry a URL, then select it and click Launch to open it in your browser. In Preferences you can have the password copied to the clipboard automatically, and cleared again 30 seconds later.

How do I import or export my passwords?
Use Export to write an encrypted file protected by your master password, and Import to read one back. It's the way to move your vault to another computer or keep an offline backup.
